Politics of Love

Politics of Love
Kuumba Nia Arts are collaborating with Euton Daley of Unlock the Chains Collective to produce the next stage of Politics of Love, a passionate new play that fuses, dance, interactive film, theatre, performance poetry and the rhythms and music of the spoken word

Politics of Love  explores  fundamentally, how love changes over time and how time changes love or
those feelings that we thought were love. It tells of a journey to the other side of love – a place where some of us don’t recover or come back from.

" Politics of Love, from Unlock the Chains Collective, was by far the most impressive piece of the evening"

"Allan Hutson and Nicola Moses-Thrower,joint choreographers..giving a strong impression that they are the real couple.."

"But it's Daley who holds the stage with a non-stop outpouring of emotion, from unrestrained love to bitterness and regret.'Let me drown in the tears of my own sorrow' he begs towards the end. It's a masterful performance."

Quotes from David Bellan, Oxford Mail.

The new version of Politics of Love will preview at the Old Fire Station, Oxford.
March 7th 2015, 7.45pm.
